Getting a Quote
How do I get a freight quote?
Fill out our quote form at rratrucking.com/contact, call us at 604-835-3333, or email dispatch@rratrucking.com. We respond fast — usually within a few hours.
Is there a minimum shipment size?
No minimum for FTL. For LTL, we accommodate partial loads as small as a few skids. Contact us with your specifics.
Do you charge fuel surcharges?
No. We provide all-in rates based on current market conditions — no separate fuel surcharge line items.
Cross-Border Shipping
Are you a bonded carrier?
Yes. RRA Trucking is a bonded carrier in both Canada and the United States, which enables faster border crossings with reduced customs delays.
Do you help with customs documentation?
We coordinate with customs brokers and review all carrier-side documentation proactively before the border. We don't act as a licensed customs broker, but we ensure all our paperwork is complete and accurate.
What border crossings do you use?
We primarily use Pacific Highway (BC–WA), Coutts/Sweetgrass (AB–MT), Windsor/Detroit (ON–MI), and Fort Erie/Buffalo (ON–NY) depending on the lane.
Equipment & Services
What equipment types do you offer?
Dry van, flatbed, step deck, reefer (refrigerated), and intermodal containers. We match equipment to your freight requirements.
Do you handle oversized or overweight loads?
Yes. Our flatbed and step deck service covers oversized freight with full permit coordination, route planning, and load securement.
Do you offer warehousing?
Yes. We offer short and long-term storage, cross-docking, and distribution coordination out of our Surrey, BC facility.
Tracking & Communication
How do I track my shipment?
We use Samsara for real-time GPS tracking. Your coordinator provides milestone updates at pickup, in-transit, border crossing, and delivery. You can also call us anytime at 604-835-3333.
Who do I contact during a shipment?
You have direct access to your assigned logistics coordinator throughout the move — no call centers, no hold queues.
Billing & Terms
What are your payment terms?
We offer net 15 and net 30 terms on approved accounts. Contact us to set up your account.
Do you offer spot rates or contract rates?
Both. We work with shippers on spot quotes for one-off moves and pre-negotiated lane rates for recurring freight needs.
